Trieste Mobilizes: General Strike Protests Government Policies and Ministerial Decree

About 500 people came down to Trieste’s main square this Friday afternoon where CGIL and UIL called for a general strike against the Italian government’s economic, social, and political policies. The strike was attended by public sector employees, education professionals, university and research staff, as well as healthcare workers.
