In what has become a longstanding tradition, the annual performance of Mozart’s Requiem directed by the esteemed Cristina Semeraro is set to captivate Trieste this Monday once again.
Mark your calendars for this Monday, December 4th, at 8:30 pm as the musical extravaganza takes center stage on the 232nd anniversary of Mozart’s passing. The venue for this auditory feast is none other than the Church of San Francesco on via Giulia 70.
Trieste’s own philharmonic orchestra, Città di Monfalcone, will set the stage ablaze alongside the harmonious voices of the chorus Insieme per il Requiem. This ensemble, comprising passionate singers from various choirs in Trieste, unites periodically to deliver a spellbinding rendition of Mozart’s Requiem.
The stellar lineup includes an international quartet of soloists: Francesca Palmentieri, Anna Katarzyna, Francesco Cortese, and Hektor Leka. Leading the ensemble with finesse is the renowned music director, Cristina Semeraro.
