Fueling this maritime marvel is liquefied natural gas (LNG), recognized as the cleanest marine fuel currently dominating the market. Both the Sun Princess and the Star Princess are equipped with dual-fuel capabilities, positioning them as eco-friendly titans in the cruise ship domain.
Anticipated to host a whopping 4,300 guests, the Star Princess mirrors the innovative design of its predecessor, the Sun Princess, built on a cutting-edge platform that signals the future of cruise ship architecture.
The Sun Princess is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2024, while eager enthusiasts will have to wait until 2025 to set sail on the Star Princess.
