In the spirit of the holiday season, the Municipality of Trieste, in collaboration with La Cappella Underground, presents three engaging events tailored for the little ones, featuring monstrous readings and face painting, all set against the splendid backdrop of the Space Spears exhibition: 60 Years of Festival and Science Fiction in Trieste at the Bastione Fiorito. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, included with the castle admission ticket (free for children under 6; discounted for children aged 6 and above). Parental presence is required. Recommended reading age: 5 years and up.

The author, Febe Sillani, will live draw the monstrous creatures from the story, and skillful makeup artists will turn the kids into… bloody vampires and vampiresses. Vampires exist all around the world, with appearances so unusual you couldn’t even imagine. Some have seemingly ordinary features, blending in with humans, while others are horrifying monsters. One thing they all share is an eternal thirst for fresh blood.
