Municipal Kindergartens Open for 2024/2025 – A Guide to Your Child’s Early Education Journey

In an effort to prepare for the upcoming academic year of 2024/2025, parents are invited to register their children for municipal kindergartens. The enrollment period, which kicked off on January 15, will run until February 5, 2024, and is exclusively available online. Parents can complete the registration process using the SPID code, the Electronic Identity Card (CIE), or the National Services Card (CNS).

Children born in the years 2019, 2020, and 2021 are eligible for enrollment. Additionally, “early birds” born from January 1, 2022, to April 30, 2022 (known as “anticipators”), may be accepted based on seat availability. Their admission will be considered after processing applications from children born in the years 2018, 2019, and 2020. If accepted, these “anticipators” can commence classes right after the holiday season.

The schedule of municipal kindergartens aligns with the one adopted by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. Operating from Monday to Friday, typically between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM, these kindergartens offer flexible dismissal times at 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM. Individual schools determine the organizational flexibility of dismissal times at the beginning of each school year.
