The exploration of new frontiers in physical clown and circus-theater ‘for everyone’ concludes on January 6th and 7th at 6:00 PM at the Miela Theater. The delightful showcase of the latest scenarios in ‘tout publique’ theater will take center stage on Epiphany Day with an all-female performance that has already been well-received at top festivals and theaters across Italy.

In “Anita. Bathroom Juggling” (written and performed by Anna Marcato), the audience will witness an intimate space like the bathroom magically transform into a quirky theater and circus ring. The protagonist, Anita, prepares her bathtub, falls into it, and the whole setting turns into a fragrant stage for monologues, juggling acts, and comedic songs.

On Sunday, January 7th, the Caproni Brothers duo will close the showcase with “Watch Out, It’s Slippery” (conceived, written, directed, and performed by Alessandro Larocca and Andrea Ruberti). A highly acclaimed pair of performers, among the most respected in Italy and beyond, will present their comical theatrical journey, balancing between melancholy and euphoria. In this surreal and dreamlike atmosphere, two peculiar individuals in evening dress play with imagination, offering an exciting performance of classic comedic acts, surprising mime numbers, and clumsy yet hilarious illusions.

For more detailed information about the performances, you can visit the theater’s website at https://www.miela.it/programmazione/clownerie/.

Special CLOWNERIE Offer: Parent + Child (up to 12 years old) €20.00.

Remember, tickets for the showcase are also available through the “tandem” subscription formula—a flexible, cost-effective, and shareable subscription for 5, 10, and 15 shows. Purchase them at the theater’s box office (tel. 0403477672) from Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, or online at www.vivaticket.com.
