Intense days for PromoTurismoFVG technicians as they strive to restore slopes following heavy snowfall, aiming for the full opening of all tracks and facilities across the six districts of Friuli Venezia Giulia by Friday.

Given the ongoing snow cover restoration efforts, particularly in areas like Sella Nevea (with snow reaching 72 centimeters upstream), Piancavallo (30 cm), Zoncolan (35 cm), Sappada (50 cm), Forni di Sopra (45 cm), Sauris di Sopra (20 cm), and Sauris di Sotto (10 cm) on the peaks, PromoTurismoFVG advises checking the Infoneve website for updates. The next update is scheduled for Thursday, revealing weekend plans.

As of today, confirmed openings in various districts are as follows:

Piancavallo: Daini, Genzianella, Busa, and Caprioli carpets are open, along with all chairlifts (except Tremol 2 and Tremol carpet). Skiing is available on Busa Grande, Nazionale Bassa, Sauc Alto, Sauc Basso, Tublat, Sole, Caprioli 2 and 3, Daini, Genzianella, Casere, Casere 2, 3 and 4, and Sauc ski weg. Nevelandia and the Ice Palace are open, as well as the Pian Mazzega cross-country track (over a kilometer) and rail tobogganing (weekends only).

Sappada-Forni Avoltri: In Sappada, all facilities are open except for Miravalle, with skiing available on various slopes and skiwegs. Nevelandia is open. In Forni Avoltri, the biathlon facility at Carnia Arena in Piani di Luzza remains partially open.

Forni di Sopra-Sauris: Only Sauris di Sotto is open on Wednesdays and Fridays in Sauris, while all facilities in Forni di Sopra are open except for the Cimacuta chairlift. Skiing is possible on various slopes in Varmost and Davost areas.

Ravascletto-Zoncolan: The Monte Zoncolan cable car and Valvan chairlift remain open with multiple slopes, skiwegs, and ski lifts. Some Pradibosco facilities are currently closed.

Tarvisio: All facilities are open except for the Nuova Tarvisio chairlift. Skiing is available on several slopes, including Duca d’Aosta and Di Prampero.

Sella Nevea: The Gilberti chairlift reopens tomorrow, joining the Canin cable car and Campo Scuola carpet, while the Prevala Funifor remains closed. Skiing is possible on all slopes except for Rifugio Cai 2 and Prevala.

Note: This year introduces automated ticketing machines in Piancavallo, Ravascletto-Zoncolan, Tarvisio, and Sella Nevea ski resorts. Two new ticket sales points are operational near the Amaro highway exit and in the Angelo area of Tarvisio. These advancements aim to streamline the ticketing process and reduce queues at ski resort ticket counters. Additionally, interactive ski maps are available to keep enthusiasts informed about slope and facility conditions, technical data, webcams, refreshment options, sports, entertainment, and infrastructure details.
