In a bid to commemorate the 35th Day for the Deepening and Development of Dialogue between Catholics and Jews, the Diocese of Trieste is set to organize a two-part conference titled “Can These Bones Live Again?” (Ez 37:1-14) on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 6:00 PM. The event will take place at the Paolo VI Pastoral Center, located at 24/1 Tigor Street.

The theme, drawn from the book of the prophet Ezekiel, will be explored by Rabbi Alexandre Meloni and Bishop Enrico Trevisi, who will provide insights from both Jewish and Catholic perspectives. The conference, introduced by Reverend Valerio Muschi and moderated by Monsignor Ettore Malnati, promises a rich discussion on the interpretative angles of the text within the Jewish and Catholic traditions.

The conference will be live-streamed on the YouTube channel “Parrocchia Nostra Signora di Sion – Trieste.” Additionally, Telequattro will broadcast the conference video on Sunday, January 14, at 4:00 PM. Don’t miss this opportunity to delve into the shared dialogue between Catholics and Jews, exploring the profound question: Can these bones live again?
