The Breastfast Club collective unveils “Trattati Bene”: a groundbreaking self-examination guide aimed at promoting breast cancer awareness. Described as “an innovative project combining art and health to raise public consciousness about breast cancer,” the 2024 edition of the illustrated self-examination guide features collaborative efforts with photographer Anna Corai and graphic designer Marco Petrucci (Testi Manifesti).

The Breastfast Club’s work is a result of collaboration among communication experts, patients, the Breast Unit of Trieste, and LILT Friuli Venezia Giulia. It aims to spread knowledge about self-examination, a practice that, alongside traditional screening tests, can play a crucial role in early detection of potential breast cancer signals.

“Trattati Bene” provides not only practical instructions for becoming familiar with one’s body and detecting suspicious changes in breast tissue through detailed images and step-by-step instructions but also serves as an empowerment tool to take control of one’s health through awareness.
