In the midst of a widespread labor shortage affecting all sectors, including the private industry, the Attractiveness campaign kicks off a journey to enhance the reputation of the Region and its municipalities. The aim is to underscore the significance of employment in public administration and how it tangibly impacts citizens’ lives.
This was asserted by the Public Function assessor, Pierpaolo Roberti, during the presentation of the Attractiveness campaign, curated by the Region’s Press Office. The initiative, executed by the Region’s Press Office, will receive support from Anci Fvg, universities, technical institutes (Its), and professional orders.
The catchy slogan for this communication initiative is “Build the Future Together” and will be utilized in various iterations in the coming days to promote the first competition for the recruitment of forty technical professionals, particularly engineers, architects, and surveyors.
“With this campaign,” explained Roberti, “we want to convey the true meaning of public service. Unfortunately, a distorted opinion, fueled by stereotypes that have accumulated over time, is widespread. The reality is a system that, thanks to its employees, has brilliantly faced serious emergencies such as those related to Covid, energy, or the scarcity of raw materials due to ongoing conflicts.”
During the press conference, it was emphasized that in 2023, the Region signed approximately 500 new employment contracts, with an equal number expected for the current year. Highlighting the growing difficulties in terms of participation in competitions, it was also noted that out of about 100 participants at the end of the competition process, the eligible candidates range from 10 to 25%.
“We are also working on the establishment of a true Training School,” announced Roberti. “Through our Training School, we want to engage directly with the world of education to reach those young individuals interested in a professional path in public administration, providing them with all the necessary tools to face public competitions successfully,” he concluded.
