Miramare Park, the Castle, and the love story of Maximilian and Charlotte will take center stage in the upcoming episode of “Freedom,” Roberto Giacobbo’s show set to air on Monday in prime time on the Mediaset network.

Roberto Giacobbo, with his program “Freedom – Beyond the Border,” is scheduled to air on Monday, January 22, in prime time on Italia 1. In addition to other unpublished and visually impactful reports, the episode will also focus on Miramare Castle.

“Giacobbo travels to Friuli Venezia Giulia, to Trieste, to visit Miramare Castle, the love nest of Prince Maximilian of Habsburg, brother of Emperor Franz Joseph, and his wife Charlotte of Belgium. Freedom enters the luxurious rooms of the castle and, through various testimonies and an exclusive tour of its spaces, retraces the history of the couple, which unfortunately did not have a happy ending.”

Exclusively for Freedom, the host was able to visit the vault where the scepter, given to Charlotte of Belgium when Maximilian was crowned Emperor of Mexico, is currently kept. In the coming weeks, it will find an appropriate place in the rooms of Miramare Castle.
