In a subtle economic resurgence, inflation has made its presence felt once again, according to the latest data released by municipal statistical services.

Trieste is experiencing a 1.7% surge in prices over the past year. This marks a notable uptick compared to the 1.4% inflation hike reported in November on an annual basis.

Delving into monthly figures, the increase from November ’23 stands at a modest 0.4%. This contrasts with November’s statistics, which showed a 0.8% decrease in monthly variation compared to October ’23. The data suggests a nuanced economic shift in the city’s financial dynamics, hinting at a potential trajectory toward recovery.
