In a press briefing on Monday in Trieste, Alessia Rosolen, the regional labor assessor, underscored the seamless coordination of Employment Centers in Friuli Venezia Giulia, highlighting their pivotal role in providing practical solutions for job seekers. The services offered, including specialized training, the ability to bridge job demand and supply, and collaborations with key stakeholders, showcase the region’s effective commitment to supporting employment. Rosolen emphasized the importance of maintaining continuity in the established system through shared programmatic guidelines.
Speaking at the presentation of the Recruiting Info-Day for Grado tourist facilities (Git), scheduled for February 20 at the organization’s headquarters in Grado, Rosolen announced the availability of 50 job positions for the summer season of 2024. These positions cover a range of roles, from human resources to catering services, the spa and beauty center sector, beachfront hospitality, lifeguarding, and more.
Delving into labor market data within the tourism sector, Rosolen highlighted that over 60% of hires in the region fall within the age group of 15 to 34. She noted that young individuals “are particularly receptive to employment opportunities in the area, even in the face of temporary contracts lasting between 2 to 4 months, provided there are assurances for potential continued employment.”
Rosolen expressed gratitude to Git President Roberto Marin for launching a “Git Academy,” making educational services promoted by the region available to newly hired individuals.
