Scheduled for Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 5 pm to 7 pm, the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) is collaborating with Trieste’s science institutes to host a public event at Antico Caffè San Marco. The occasion aims to commemorate the 2024 International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

Open to all, the event offers an opportunity for the community to engage with women researchers from various scientific backgrounds within the Trieste Science System. Attendees can participate in informal one-on-one or small group conversations with researchers in the relaxed setting of Caffe San Marco, sharing insights and experiences in the field of science.

Researchers will be seated at different tables, and participants are encouraged to rotate, engaging with each scientist as they move from table to table at the sound of a bell. It’s an inclusive event where individuals can connect with scientists representing diverse disciplines and gain valuable insights into their work.

Whether you’re a science enthusiast or simply curious about the contributions of women in science, this event offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate the achievements of women in the field.
