Reflecting on the resounding success of the 2023 edition, which drew an average of 50 participants per session, Rossi underscored the program’s resonance and its pivotal contribution to Trieste’s cultural landscape. “Walking Learns” unfolds as a meticulously curated series of 20 conferences, slated to span from February to December 2024, predominantly on Saturdays. Embracing a diverse array of themes, from immersive nature hikes to urban strolls and museum tours, each session promises an enlightening odyssey led by seasoned experts.

Notable highlights from the itinerary include four thought-provoking sessions addressing climate pollution, featuring captivating excursions to caves, jazere, and marine ecosystems for seawatching experiences. Additionally, the program champions inclusivity with two sessions tailored for individuals with intellectual disabilities, supported by simplified texts for varying comprehension levels.

Rounding out the offerings are specialized sessions spotlighting paleontology, castellieri, and the rich maritime heritage of Trieste, underscoring the city’s multifaceted cultural tapestry. Each session is meticulously designed to cater to diverse interests and accessibility needs, ensuring an enriching experience for all participants.
