In a heartwarming start to the year, little Zoe stole the spotlight as Muggia’s first newborn of 2024, arriving on January 30th. Mayor Paolo Polidori marked the occasion by presenting the proud family with a commemorative plaque—a tradition he initiated last year to honor the city’s inaugural bundle of joy.

The touching ceremony unfolded in the hallowed halls of the Town Hall’s council chamber, where parents Erika and Sebastiano beamed with pride alongside their newest addition and two younger sisters, born in 2019 and 2021, respectively. Today, Muggia celebrates not just the dawn of a new year, but the promise of a bright future embodied in its newest resident, little Zoe.
