On Friday, March 8, in honor of International Women’s Day, girls, young women, and ladies are being granted complimentary access to Trieste’s Civic Museums.

This special offer extends to normally ticketed venues, including the Revoltella Museum, the Carlo Schmidl Theater Museum, the San Giusto Castle Museum, the War Museum for Peace Diego de Henriquez, and the Natural History Museum.

However, note that it excludes entry to ongoing exhibitions such as “Antonio Ligabue” and “Van Gogh” at the Revoltella Museum, as well as the “Sebastião Salgado. Amazônia” showcase at the Salone degli Incanti.

Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that admission remains free for all (yes, including men) at several other locations, including the Sartorio Museum, the Oriental Art Museum, the Maritime Museum, the J.J. Winkelmann Museum of Antiquities, the Risiera di San Sabba, the Basovizza Foiba Documentation Center, the Risorgimento Museum, and the Oberdan Shrine.
