In a strategic move aimed at securing employment while fostering competitiveness on a European scale, Msc’s proposal to establish a railway wagon production plant in the Wartsila region has garnered attention.

Governor Massimiliano Fedriga of Friuli Venezia Giulia underscored the significance of this endeavor during a recent gathering at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.

The meeting, attended by key figures including Minister Adolfo Urso and Undersecretary Fausta Bergamotto, saw discussions on Msc’s ambitious project for the reindustrialization of Wartsila Italia’s site in Bagnoli della Rosandra.

Fedriga emphasized the region’s commitment to leveraging all available resources to facilitate this industrial resurgence and safeguard employment levels.

With Msc’s proposal now under scrutiny by both regional authorities and relevant ministries, hopes are high for a detailed agreement to be reached by June. The next phase will entail technical deliberations among the involved ministries, with an update scheduled for March 20th.
