Another performance is scheduled as part of the Chamber Music Series in the 2024 Concert Season at the Tartini Conservatory. On Tuesday, March 12th, at 8:30 PM, the spotlight will be on the “Eastern Wind” production, presented in collaboration with the Circle of Culture and Arts, featuring the Trio Mirage. This ensemble, composed of young Albanian musicians—Uendi Reka on violin, Enea Nushi on cello, and Elisa Milo on piano—will perform at the Tartini Hall (12 Ghega Street).

The program includes works by Eastern composers, beginning with Bedřich Smetana’s Trio in G minor, Op. 15, composed in 1885 as a response to the tragic loss of his four-year-old daughter, Bedriska. This chamber piece reflects the influences of German Romanticism and Franz Liszt. Following this is Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Trio élégiaque No. 1 in G minor, a composition of youthful vigor conceived in a single movement within the classical sonata form. Musicologist Marco Maria Tosolini will provide introductions to the pieces.

The Concert Season at the Conservatory, managed by Luca Trabucco and directed by Sandro Torlontano, offers free admission until seats are filled. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 040 6724911 or emailing info@conts.it.

Established in 2020 under the guidance of Alessandra Carani in the Chamber Music class at the Trieste Conservatory, Trio Mirage is the creation of three Albanian musicians. Uendi Reka graduated with honors from the Triennial Superior Program in Violin in 2021 and received top marks in the Biennial Superior Program in the same instrument in 2023 under Sinead Nava at the Tartini Conservatory. She has achieved success in international competitions as a soloist and chamber musician. Currently, she is pursuing the Chamber Music Biennium at the Tartini Conservatory and holds the position of principal second violin in the Ceman Orchestra, in addition to regular collaborations with the Friuli Venezia Giulia Chamber Orchestra and the Regional Symphony Institution – FVG Orchestra.

Enea Nushi, after completing his undergraduate studies in cello at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana under Dorina Laro’s mentorship, continued his studies at the Trieste Conservatory. In 2023, he received top honors in the Biennial Chamber Music Program under Alessandra Carani. Currently enrolled in the cello biennium under Federico Magris at the same Conservatory, he also pursues specialized studies at the Pinerolo Academy of Music since 2022.

Elisa Milo, a piano virtuoso, graduated with honors from the Trieste Conservatory in 2022 under Professor Teresa Trevisan and continues her studies in the Advanced Biennial Piano Program under Trevisan’s guidance. She has won numerous international piano competitions, showcasing her remarkable talent on various prestigious platforms.
