The conference, conducted in English, offers attendees a unique opportunity to gain insights into the U.S. legal landscape from the perspective of an esteemed expert, Steve Oberman. With an illustrious career spanning 44 years in criminal defense, particularly DUI defense, Steve Oberman brings unparalleled expertise to the table. He has successfully represented thousands of clients and authored several seminal publications, including “DUI: The Crime & Consequences in Tennessee” and the widely acclaimed “Drunk Driving Defense,” now in its 9th edition. Notably, his work has been cited by the U.S. Supreme Court, showcasing the profound impact of his contributions to the legal field.

In addition to his distinguished legal practice, Steve Oberman is also an educator. Serving as an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee Law School since 1993, he has received prestigious awards for his exceptional teaching abilities. Steve has imparted trial techniques to thousands of lawyers across 30 states and 8 foreign countries. As a Fulbright Scholar, he has shared his expertise at the University of Latvia and is currently engaged in teaching at the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Law.
