Starting from Monday, March 18, in the six districts of Friuli Venezia Giulia, skiing will be available at reduced rates, with the daily ski pass decreasing from 44 euros to 31 euros.
All ski resorts will be accessible, albeit with reduced functionality of facilities and slopes: at Piancavallo, Sappada-Forni Avoltri, Ravascletto-Zoncolan, Forni di Sopra-Sauris, and Tarvisio, snow enthusiasts can still enjoy themselves until Monday, April 1, while Sella Nevea will continue as scheduled until April 14. Openings, of course, may vary depending on the weather and considering the conditions of the trails, which currently still allow for good skiing.
PromoTurismoFVG, given the particularly variable weather situation, will assess the opening of slopes and facilities daily and reminds everyone that it’s always possible to check for updates on the InfoNeve website (www.turismofvg.it/montagna/infoneve) with all the real-time news.
At Sella Nevea from March 18 to 25, the finals of the Paralympic Ski World Cup will take place: they will occupy the Agonistica and Turistica slopes, which will remain closed to the public between the two junctions; all other facilities and trails will remain open.
Regarding the cost of ski passes, as previously mentioned, from Monday, March 18, to Monday, April 1, the low season rate will be applied, which reduces the price of the adult daily pass to 31 euros (27.50 for seniors and 10 euros for junior and over 75 categories, babies are always free) and the ski@ore for 3, 4, and 5 hours respectively to 22, 25, and 27.50 euros.
Ski passes can be purchased at ticket offices or at functioning automatic ticket machines in the districts of Piancavallo, Ravascletto-Zoncolan, Tarvisio, and Sella Nevea (all details on rates: www.turismofvg.it/it/montagna365/tariffe/inverno-skipass-23-24-giornalieri-e-plurigiornalieri/poli-montani). Sunday, March 17, will be the last day to take advantage of the Skipass Telepass, Skiing in the Northeast (Despar Tribù App), and Ski & Train promotions.
