The Department of Economic Development of the Municipality of Trieste, in co-organization with Assofiori Italia, organized the twentieth edition of the free-entry floral event “Trieste in Bloom and Spring Delights”.
Hosting the colorful and fragrant event is, as tradition dictates, Viale XX Settembre, the favorite promenade of the people of Trieste, in the area between Largo Bonifacio and Via Rossetti.
For nine days, from 9 am to 8 pm, “Trieste in Bloom and Spring Delights” will transform this area of the city into a cheerful and fragrant garden, with a wide variety of plants, from trees to succulents, from fragrant roses to rare and flowering plants.
The trade show is dedicated to the floriculture sector thus returned in 2024, buoyed by the success of past editions, which have seen the arrival of numerous visitors, not only from the entire region but also from neighboring Austria, Slovenia, and Croatia.
Over 35 exhibitors from various Italian regions bring the trade show to life with stands of plants and flowers, gardening equipment, garden furniture, essences, herbal products, and decorative items. Exhibitors, producers, and specialized sellers are available daily to offer advice and information to the public, proposing a series of free educational initiatives to satisfy visitors’ curiosity about plant care, nature conservation, and garden care services.
Alongside flowers and plants, there is also a section dedicated to agri-food products: spices, olive oil, olives, herb cheeses, truffles, regional herb products, quality herbal products, and a few surprises.
