In Trieste, the Regional Headquarters of Friuli Venezia Giulia played host to a significant event—the unveiling of the Recruiting Day, graced by the presence of key figures including Alessia Rosolen, the Regional Councillor for Labour, Training, Education, and Family, and Joakim Hoegsander, Director of TIARE Shopping.
Set to unfold on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the inauguration of the Villesse Meeting Place, the Recruiting Day stands as a tangible manifestation of support for local retail outlets and the community at large. It underscores the unified commitment of both the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region and TIARE to address the pressing needs of the labor market.
This initiative, engaging over 21 commercial entities from the Meeting Place, offers a robust slate of 130 positions, extending opportunities to young talents and job seekers alike.
Roles sought after include sales associates, customer service representatives, logistics personnel, and specialists in Communication & Interior Design for the Ikea store. Additionally, other tenants of Tiare Shopping have joined in the endeavor, scouting for store managers, personal care attendants, and hospitality staff.
Alessia Rosolen, Regional Councillor, remarked, “With this recruiting initiative centered around Tiare Shopping in Villesse, the regional administration continues its steadfast endeavor to bridge the gap between job supply and demand. This year, introducing an incentive for fixed-term contracts lasting a minimum of 12 months, we aim to provide greater stability, attracting a wider pool of candidates interested in our selection process.”
Despite global uncertainties, employment in Friuli-Venezia Giulia remained resilient in 2023, a testament to concerted efforts and strategic labor policies. Rosolen emphasized the collaborative approach, citing not only recruiting days but also an array of training projects undertaken in partnership with local businesses.
Joakim Hoegsander, Director of TIARE Shopping, expressed pride in the initiative, acknowledging the pivotal role played by regional authorities. He underlined the Recruiting Day’s significance, not only in fostering community welfare but also in nurturing relationships with commercial partners.
