Collaborating closely with the local Municipality and beach concessionaires, the Regional administration wasted no time in approving a comprehensive project aimed at restoring the coastline. Dubbed as a beacon of efficiency, the endeavor included the revitalization of two distinct stretches of shoreline: the Costa Azzurra and the Git (Grado tourist facilities). With nearly €700,000 allocated for urgent interventions, the project involved the meticulous movement of 38,000 cubic meters of sand.
In an official statement, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional Councilor for Environmental Defense underscored the urgency of the situation. Venturing into the heart of Grado, the Councilor conducted thorough inspections, surveying the areas hardest hit by the tempestuous storms of yesteryears.
