This picturesque town on the Adriatic coast is set to host an enchanting weekend that promises to delight connoisseurs of fine wine and lovers of eclectic music. From June 28 to June 29, the Municipality of Duino Aurisina will be the scene of a vibrant celebration, blending the rich flavors of the region’s renowned wines with the pulsating beats of acclaimed musical acts.
On Friday, June 28, the historic Castello di Duino will become the backdrop for Vitosvska, an event showcasing one of the region’s finest wines. Simultaneously, at the Base Experience in Baia di Sistiana, the Collio Wine Protection Consortium will mark its 60th anniversary. From sunset at 7:00 PM until late into the night, attendees can embark on a curated enogastronomic journey, sampling the best wines of the Collio region. The evening will feature a DJ set by Alessio Bagordo, creating an atmosphere that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity.
This year’s edition of “Collio & The Beach” has become a cherished tradition in Baia di Sistiana. Wine enthusiasts will have the opportunity to taste a selection of the region’s premier white wines, including Ribolla Gialla, Pinot Grigio, Friulano, and Collio Bianco. Red wine lovers are not forgotten, with offerings such as Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Nero. Complementing the wines will be gourmet dishes: Frico & Grill by Gastronomica Cecchini, 24-month lightly smoked ham from Azienda Agricola D’Osvaldo, and a variety of organic cheeses from Fattoria Zoff. The gastronomic journey concludes with a fine coffee experience from Torrefazione Goriziana Caffè. Tickets are available for pre-sale online.
For those who prefer a different beat, Friday night will also see the Base Michelangelo nightclub come alive from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM with a performance by an artist who has swiftly risen to prominence in the Italian music scene. Known for his collaborations with contemporary luminaries such as Blanco, Geolier, Shiva, Marracash, Fedez, Madame, Ariete, Rkomi, and Sfera Ebbasta, his music promises to provide an eclectic soundtrack to an unforgettable night.
Saturday, June 29 promises to be equally captivating. Baia di Sistiana will host an evening dedicated to an explosion of beauty, featuring the music of Stefy De Cicco. From 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM, attendees can dance the night away to the beats of this celebrated Top DJane. De Cicco’s impressive repertoire includes collaborations with world-famous DJs and hit tracks such as “Day ‘N’ Nite” with Martin Jensen, “Kids” with Kshmr & Mkla, “4 to the Floor” with HUGEL & Hugo Cantarra, “Te Boté” with Alok, and “Superstar,” which has earned gold record status in France.
