A charter flight operated by Condor turned into a harrowing experience for passengers bound for Trieste/Ronchi dei Legionari airport, as it was forced to divert mid-flight due to a medical emergency onboard on Sunday. The flight, specifically catering to passengers of the Mein Schiff cruise ship docked in Giulia’s capital, departed from Hamburg in the early hours.

Shortly after its 6:05 AM departure from Germany, the Airbus A320 was compelled to make an emergency landing at Munich airport. The reason behind this unscheduled stop was reportedly a passenger experiencing a health crisis, believed to be a heart attack.

With approximately 180 German tourists on board, the aircraft made the crucial decision to offload the stricken passenger and a family member before resuming its journey. After departing from Bavaria, the flight eventually touched down at Ronchi at 9:53 AM local time, marking a delay of two hours from its original schedule.

Despite the disruption in air travel, there were no reported implications for the cruise ship Mein Schiff 6, operated by the renowned German carrier Tui. The vessel is set to resume its itinerary from Trieste later in the evening, unaffected by the incident.
