Summer is in full swing with plenty of things to do in Trieste and around. Here is our list of what’s happening in Trieste during July, with a tip for each day of the month.

1 July. Enjoy ShorTS under the stars at Giardino publico tonight at 9 pm, free entrance.
2 July. Head to Miramare tonight for a magnificent performance en plain air by the Rossetti theater.
3 July. Indulge in pasta alle vongole at the Trattoria Bellariva right on the beach.
4 July. Have a multicultural aperitivo at Bar Tergesteo from 7 pm on and chat in English the night away.
5 July. Head to Amelia’s smart-working area for some peace in the shaded patio.
6 July. Take the boat to Grado and watch its community venture out on boats decorated with flags to the Barbana Island as part of the annual religious procession.

7 July. Trieste is ready to welcome Pope in Piazza Unità this afternoon. Head there early to get a good spot for the Mass.
8 July. Get ready to shop till you drop as the sales start in Trieste.
