Petrarchan Piccolomineo Museum Reopens in Trieste

The Petrarchan Piccolomineo Museum, a cultural gem located at Via Madonna del Mare 13, has reopened its doors to the public, according to a recent announcement by the Municipality of Trieste. The museum now features a new exhibition titled “Pur d’amor volgarmente ragionando: Dante’s Legacy in Petrarch.”

The museum will be accessible to visitors from Monday to Saturday, with operating hours from 9 AM to 1 PM. On Wednesdays, it will also be open from 2 PM to 6 PM. The museum is closed on Sundays. Guided tours are offered on Saturdays at 11 AM, with additional tours available upon request during other open hours.

The current exhibition will be on display until Wednesday, October 2, after which the museum will prepare for a new exhibition.
