The Muggia Summer Carnival made a vibrant debut last night, drawing enthusiastic crowds to Piazzale Caliterna. With every table occupied and a lively atmosphere, the event showcased an array of food stalls managed by local Carnival organizations.
Saturday, August 10th, promises another highlight with the CarnivalRun, a colorful race set to weave through the heart of Muggia. The run starts at 7:00 PM, with registration available at carnevaldemuja.com. Participants and spectators will then await the CarnivalRun awards ceremony at 8:00 PM.
The evening’s entertainment will continue at 9:00 PM with a performance by “Back to Rio,” a cover band specializing in hits from Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet.
The festivities extend into Sunday, August 11th, with the VogadaMata. The event will begin at 7:00 PM in front of Lungomare Venezia, featuring delightful creations and performances. The VogadaMata awards ceremony will follow at 8:30 PM. At 9:00 PM, Caliterna will host “From Disco to Disco,” featuring DJ Corrad and Sandro Giorgi.

On Saturday, August 10th, a traffic ban will be in effect on Via Battisti from Largo Caduti per la Libertà to Via Manzoni, as well as on Via Manzoni and Riva De Amicis, from 6:00 PM to midnight. This restriction excludes emergency and rescue vehicles.

Sauro between the boatyard and building number 5/d, and on the first five parallel parking spaces on the seaside between the boatyard and the former GdF building, from 8:00 AM to midnight. In case of inclement weather, the same restrictions will apply on Thursday, August 15, 2024.
