Nestled in the scenic charm of Muggia Vecchia Park, a trio of distinguished wind orchestras is set to dazzle audiences this summer. The “Città di Muggia” Wind Orchestra will conclude a musical series that showcases both local talent and regional heritage, culminating in a grand finale on August 11.

The series, aptly named “Summer Bands in the Oak Grove,” is supported by the Municipality of Muggia, ANBIMA regional, the “Friends of Muggia Vecchia” Association, and the Sanctuary Parish. It offers a unique opportunity for residents and tourists alike to experience open-air concerts against the backdrop of the historic Muggia Vecchia Park, adjacent to the Church of S. Maria Assunta.

The lineup features three celebrated ensembles. On July 27, the Philharmonic “Città di Pordenone,” directed by Maestro Didier Ortolan, will perform. The following evening, the “Donatori Sangue” Band of Villesse, led by Maestro Andrea Bonaldo, will take the stage. The series will reach its zenith with the “Città di Muggia” Wind Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Giacomo Sfetez, on August 11.
