Free Guided Tours: A Century of History at the University of Trieste Exhibition (1924-2024)

As part of the exhibition “1924-2024. A Century of History of the University of Trieste: Images and Documents,” dedicated to the centenary of the Trieste University and held at the Bastione Fiorito of San Giusto Castle, free guided tours are being offered in September and October. These tours are available for high schools, by reservation, and for the general public, at set times.

The exhibition is organized by the University of Trieste in collaboration with the Municipality of Trieste and with the contribution of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Tours for high schools From September 1 to November 10, 2024, high schools can book free guided tours of the exhibition. Entry is granted by purchasing the “schools” admission ticket to the Castle, priced at €1.00 per student. To book, you must send an email to admaiora.trieste@gmail.com.

Tours for the general public Free guided tours for the general public, with fixed start times and subject to the purchase of an admission ticket to the Castle, will take place on the following dates: September 7, 14, 21, and 28 at 5:00 p.m.; October 5, 12, 19, and 26 at 3:30 p.m. The tours will be conducted in Italian and will last 60 minutes.
