The 2024 edition of Trieste Estate drew over 145,000 spectators for 320 performances, a 36% increase from the previous year. Spanning June to September, the festival showcased music, theater, dance, and more in key city venues like Piazza Verdi and Castello di San Giusto, with 79% of the events offered for free.
The festival, organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism, brought significant economic impact, with an investment of over €1.2 million. Trieste Estate also garnered 842,000 social media interactions, further amplifying its reach.
Looking ahead, rumors suggest that Robbie Williams may perform at Stadio Nereo Rocco in 2025, potentially drawing even more international attention to the city’s burgeoning cultural scene.
