As the 56th Barcolana approaches, Trieste is implementing extensive parking and transportation arrangements to manage the influx of visitors.

Key parking locations include Piazzale 11 Settembre, Bovedo, and the Congress Center at Porto Vecchio for those coming from the north, while Via Carli and the Fruit and Vegetable Market area will serve southern visitors. Trieste Trasporti has increased bus services, with line No. 6 running along Viale Miramare and line No. 36 extending through Porto Vecchio.

Parking at Molo IV is unavailable, and sections of the waterfront will be closed to traffic at intervals from October 11 to 13 to manage congestion.
