This last October weekend, Trieste’s historic city center filled with locals and visitors, soaking up the elusive autumn sun and lively atmosphere.

Saturday saw the Italian Air Force’s Frecce Tricolori deliver a spectacular aerobatic display over the Gulf of Trieste, with trails of red, white, and green lighting up the sky. Families, friends, and tourists flocked to the waterfront to witness the show and explore local food stands, live music, and artisanal markets that lined the streets. The vibrant mix of festivities and national pride left a lasting impression, marking another unforgettable weekend in Trieste’s cultural calendar.
