From December 1, 2024, to January 6, 2025, residents and visitors alike can take advantage of a limited-time offer to purchase an annual pass to the city’s Civici Musei for just €15. This discounted pass provides unlimited access to several of the city’s cultural landmarks for 12 months from the date of issue.
The pass grants entry to popular attractions, including the Castle of San Giusto, the Carlo Schmidl Theatre Museum, the Diego De Henriquez Museum of War for Peace, and the Natural History Museum. Access to temporary exhibitions included in the standard ticket price is also covered. Notably, the Revoltella Museum, a cornerstone of the city’s artistic landscape, will be fully accessible after reopening in spring 2025 following extensive renovations.
Certain exhibitions, such as the high-profile shows at the Salone degli Incanti and other ticketed temporary displays, are not included in the pass. However, other municipal museums—such as the Museum of the Sea, the Sartorio Museum, and the Risiera di San Sabba—remain free to the public throughout the year.
This initiative highlights Trieste’s commitment to making its cultural heritage accessible. Passes can be purchased in person at several museum ticket offices or online via the official website.
For a city steeped in history and culture, this offer provides an affordable opportunity to explore its artistic and historical treasures year-round.
