The historic Miramare Castle is hosting Naturae: Environments of Contemporary Art, a sweeping exhibition that examines the complex relationship between humans and the natural world. Curated by Melania Rossi, the show runs from December 6, 2024, to November 9, 2025, as part of the Miramare Contemporary series.

Featuring more than 50 works by 18 contemporary artists, the exhibition spans sculptures, video installations, and site-specific pieces displayed across the castle’s stables and surrounding park. Highlights include works by Marina Abramovic, Rebecca Horn, and Jan Fabre, alongside newly commissioned installations by Pietro Ruffo and José Angelino.

Set against the backdrop of the 19th-century castle and its landscaped gardens, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on humanity’s place within the natural world. Bianco-Valente’s TOWARDS YOU, unveiled during the 2024 Barcolana sailing regatta, anchors the show’s themes with a poignant dialogue between art and nature.

Tickets and additional information are available on the Miramare Museum website.
