Piazza Unità d’Italia will host Trieste’s official New Year’s Eve event, “Wonder Company 2025”. The program, organized by the Municipality, begins at 10:30 PM with music by DJs from Radio Company and live performances by the band Magazzino Commerciale. A midnight countdown will culminate in a 15-minute fireworks display synchronized with music.
Additional events include a dance party at Magazzino 27, a performance of Grease at the Rossetti Theatre, and an opera concert at Teatro Verdi featuring soprano Ekaterina Bakanova, tenor Iván Rivas, and baritone Alessandro Luongo.
To ensure a safe celebration, the city has announced measures including alcohol and glass bans in public areas, as well as restrictions on fireworks. Traffic and parking limitations will be enforced around the square, and authorities will secure the event site prior to opening it to attendees.
The celebrations are expected to attract thousands of residents and visitors, marking the beginning of 2025 with music, performances, and fireworks.
