In Trieste, a “Purple Minibus” is delivering free socio-healthcare advice to caregivers and elderly individuals affected by dementia. Organized by Associazione de Banfield and CasaViola with support from ASUGI, this mobile initiative runs until February 5.

The minibus provides consultations on cognitive decline, tips for brain health, and dementia prevention. Caregivers receive tailored support, while visitors are given a practical guide titled “Help Your Brain Before It Becomes Too Good at Forgetting.”

Key stops include:

  • January 13: Monrupino Square (morning)
  • January 14: Campo San Giacomo (9 a.m.–12 p.m.) and Piazza di Cavana (3–6 p.m.)
  • January 15: Bagnoli della Rosandra (morning)
  • January 17: Piazza tra i Rivi in Roiano (morning) and Via San Lazzaro (afternoon).

The full schedule is on www.debanfield.it. This initiative aims to combat isolation, reduce stigma, and provide much-needed support to families navigating dementia.
