Spanish dance star Sergio Bernal will take the stage at the Politeama Rossetti on February 28, bringing his internationally acclaimed Sergio Bernal Dance Company to Trieste for an exclusive performance of SeR. This marks the start of a month-long Italian tour following celebrated stops in France and the United States.
Bernal, a rare master of both flamenco and classical ballet, fuses raw intensity with refined elegance. The program features El Cisne, a reimagining of The Dying Swan, and SeR, a deeply personal piece set to Beyoncé’s music that reflects his journey as an artist.
Joining him onstage will be Cristina Cazorla, Carlos Romero, and étoile Ana Sophia Scheller, with live music from Daniel Jurado, Javier Valdunciel, and Paz de Manuel. The evening promises a dynamic blend of tradition and innovation, rooted in flamenco’s rhythmic force and ballet’s ethereal grace.
