The world-renowned vocal ensemble The King’s Singers will make their debut in Trieste on March 10, 2025, as part of the city’s Società dei Concerti Trieste 93rd season. The performance, titled “Angels and Demons,” will take place at Teatro Verdi at 8:30 PM.
The concert offers a unique musical journey spanning over 500 years of choral music, exploring the powerful symbolism of four key figures in Christian iconography: angels, demons, the Virgin Mary, and Christ. The program features works by prominent composers such as Geoffrey Poole, Edward Bairstow, Arvo Pärt, and William Byrd, weaving together Renaissance and contemporary styles.
The King’s Singers, an a cappella sextet formed over 50 years ago, are known for their technical precision and diverse repertoire, from classical to popular music. They have earned international acclaim for their emotional engagement with audiences and their ability to bring humor and depth to their performances.
Ahead of the concert, there will be a meet-and-greet with the artists at 7:15 PM at the Ridotto del Verdi, offering the public a chance to learn more about the ensemble and the concert’s program.
Tickets for the event are available online through Vivaticket and at the Ticket Point in Trieste.
