On Sunday, March 9, at 4:30 p.m., young readers will once again gather at Ubik bookstore in Galleria Tergesteo for “The Book Carpet,” a storytelling event designed for children aged 3 to 5. Led by bookseller Marzia Mangano, the session will introduce participants to a selection of illustrated stories, fostering an early love for literature.
Mangano, an avid promoter of children’s literature, will guide attendees through an hour-long reading session in the store’s children’s section. Sitting together on what organizers call a “magic carpet,” children will listen to and engage with stories chosen from a curated selection of contemporary picture books.
Following the reading, Mangano will be available to speak with parents and grandparents, offering recommendations and answering questions about children’s literature.
