The first phase of the “Posters from Beyond Space” exhibition is now on display at La Cappella Underground Media Library, located at Via Roma 19 in Trieste. Created by the Trieste Academy of Comics and the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival, the exhibit showcases reimagined posters from iconic fantasy and sci-fi films. These posters, originally designed by legendary artists, have been redrawn by both seasoned masters and emerging illustrators during a live drawing event held at the Castello di San Giusto, as part of the exhibition Alabarde Spaziali – 60 Years of Science Fiction in Trieste.
Visitors can explore the exhibit free of charge during the Media Library’s opening hours: Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with additional hours on Wednesdays from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The first part of the exhibition will be available for viewing through March and April, while the “second act” will open on May 12.
