A new anti-violence support center was introduced to the public today at Sala Millo in Muggia, marking a significant step in the town’s efforts to assist individuals facing domestic abuse and violence. The initiative is the result of a collaboration between the Municipality of Muggia and the Goap Anti-Violence Center, which presented the project during a community meeting.
Gianna Birnberg, municipal councillor for Muggia, spoke on behalf of the local government, emphasizing the importance of the new resource for residents.
Similar to the existing service in Duino-Aurisina, the Muggia center will be operated by Goap through an agreement with the municipalities of the Carso Giuliano area and the Municipality of Trieste.
