For the first time in two decades, Italian pop icon Eros Ramazzotti will return to perform in Friuli Venezia Giulia, marking what regional leaders are calling a milestone in the cultural revival of northeastern Italy.
Ramazzotti’s upcoming concert in Udine on June 6, 2026, is part of his worldwide tour titled Una storia importante—a nod to one of his most beloved hits, released 40 years ago. The announcement was met with enthusiasm by the president of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, who described it as a “further confirmation of the region’s value and growing appeal on the national and international cultural stage.”
The event marks Ramazzotti’s first performance in the region since a 2006 concert in the seaside town of Grado. His return adds star power to a cultural calendar already featuring major acts, including the widely anticipated appearance of Jovanotti and a series of events tied to the European Capital of Culture initiative, Go!2025.
“The presence of an artist like Eros Ramazzotti enriches a program that is proving capable of engaging diverse audiences and positioning Friuli Venezia Giulia as a premier cultural destination,” the regional president said in a statement.
Local officials praised the work of organizers, industry professionals, and public institutions for crafting an ambitious lineup of cultural events that are expected to draw significant tourism.
