Interview: FVG governor, Massimiliano Fedriga
John Reed Fitness in Trieste has opened an exhibition dedicated to American designer Ken Scott, known for his bold floral patterns and vivid use of color.
Titled “Ken Scott – Vernissage,” the show features scarf designs created between the 1950s and 2000s, highlighting Scott’s signature “single flower” motif. The exhibit was organized in collaboration with the Ken Scott Foundation.
The initiative is part of the gym’s broader effort to combine art and wellness, offering members and visitors a cultural experience within a fitness setting. “This project supports well-being by engaging both body and mind,” said Samuele Frosio, head of RSG Group Italia.
Regional governor Massimiliano Fedriga attended the opening, reinforcing Trieste’s commitment to cultural and community initiatives.
Ken Scott, who was born in Indiana in 1918 and later made his name in Europe, was a friend of art patron Peggy Guggenheim and became one of the most influential fashion designers of the 20th century. Often referred to as “the gardener of fashion,” his designs remain a vibrant reference point in both fashion and visual art.
