The Municipality of Trieste has announced a new round of scholarships for high-achieving local university students, supported by the “Arrigo e Silvia Visintini” testamentary fund. Administered by the Department of Education and Family Policies, the initiative aims to recognize and support Triestine students pursuing studies in veterinary and related fields.
The program will award a total of eight scholarships, inclusive of applicable taxes:
- Four awards of €1,400 each
- Four awards of €700 each
Eligible applicants must be either born or currently residing in Trieste and enrolled at an Italian university. The scholarships are open to students in their second to fifth year of a master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine (LM42), or enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s programs in Animal Science and Production Technologies (L38, LM86), and Medical, Veterinary, and Pharmaceutical Biotechnologies (LM09).
Additional criteria include having completed at least half of the required course credits for previous years and maintaining a weighted average grade of no less than 25 out of 30.
