While many celebrate the region’s popularity, others warn of overtourism’s consequences: strained infrastructure, stressed services, and frustrated residents. Rather than discouraging visitors, experts suggest it’s time for smarter planning—better transport, crowd management, and sustainable policies—to ensure tourism enhances life for everyone, not just in summer, but all year round.
