The summer season has officially arrived along the Gulf of Trieste, as Parco Caravella reopened its scenic beaches on Saturday, May 17, ushering in the 2025 balneare season with a blend of familiar charm and new offerings.
Tucked into the stunning natural amphitheater of Baia di Sistiana, near Duino Aurisina in the province of Trieste, the park remains a beloved destination for locals and tourists seeking sun, sea, and serenity. Characterized by rocky and pebbled shores, the beaches here are known for their crystalline waters—a signature of the northeastern Adriatic coast.
Despite inflationary pressures seen across Europe, Parco Caravella has opted to keep its prices unchanged this season. Visitors will find all essential beachside services in place, including private cabin rentals, reserved spots complete with two loungers and an umbrella, rotating showers and changing facilities, and ample parking.
The Chiosco Bar Caravella & Beach Bar is also back in full swing, offering an expanded menu that ranges from panini and fresh salads to pizza, snacks, and refreshments designed to cater to beachgoers throughout the day.
As the sun sets, the energy shifts inland to the BASE Club Experience, which officially kicked off its nightlife program on Saturday evening. The beachfront club launched its 2025 season with a wave of urban rhythms, featuring a vibrant mix of reggaeton, hip-hop, and trap music echoing across the bay and drawing a diverse crowd of young revelers.
With its seamless combination of nature, leisure, and nightlife, Parco Caravella continues to define the summer lifestyle on Italy’s northern coast. And with a season stretching well into September, the Baia di Sistiana promises to remain a radiant escape for months to come.
