Sunday, May 24, is expected to bring generally fair weather across the region, with skies ranging from clear to partly cloudy throughout the day. However, meteorologists are warning of the potential for showers or thunderstorms to develop in the late afternoon or evening, particularly over the Prealps. Some of these storms may extend toward the coast.

Winds will blow from the northeast, mostly light, though moderate gusts are possible around Trieste due to the presence of the Bora, a local wind known for its sudden intensity.

Temperatures are forecast to be cooler than average for this time of year, both in the lowlands and in the mountains.
