The Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities in Italy has recently invited all museums and cultural entities to let the world admire their works online. Miramare was one of the first Italian museum to answer the call. Its Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts been active more than ever and its website is constantly updated with the latest news, all in hope of promoting our region’s jewel. Last Sunday, March 29th, the museum took part in the #ARTmuseum flashmob on instagram, where everyone was invited to post pictures of their favorite museums adding the #museomiramare hashtag.
Castello Miramare was also among the first ones to think about getting kids involved. They are inviting all children to design Castello Miramare and send their pictures (along with a few lines of parental authorization) to their email address: comunicazione.miramare@beniculturali.it. All received works will be published on their social networks. A great way to celebrate the notorious symbol of our region, Miramare.
